The four-piece surfy psych rock outfit, from Bellingham WA, melds crunchy guitars with sharp lyrics and strong pop hooks that blend with an infectious head bobbing hip twisting pulse of bass and drum. Checker Bloom's music invites all who are grappling with any phase of change; the existentialism of realizing you're stuck, the excitement and fear of a change in progress, existence in change's full bloom, or whatever it may be.
