For 48 Stunden Neukölln, bm_128 is creating live electronic music from the field recordings he made in his home district of Neukölln. The recordings are enriched with effects and analogue synthesizers. For the drums, bm_128 also uses samples that were created in Neukölln, creating an urban soundtrack from and for the district. Every bm_128 live set is unique, as it is freely improvised and every aspect – whether timbre, melody, or transition – is created spontaneously.
