Best known for their single "High". In 1996 they signed to Elton John's Rocket Records and released two major-label albums, Pushing the Salmanilla Envelope and Bring Your Own Stereo. Both LPs enjoyed minor chart, radio, and MTV success and produced their best known hits "High" and "Do Right." Subsequent years saw them releasing independent albums, and reforming for tours with Candlebox and most recently the 90's revival festivals. Led by charismatic and humorous frontman Jimi Haha, the group knows how to throw a party from the stage. Tropico Blvd: Quirky, sunshine-fueled fusion rock from Tampa Bay. Combining roots rock, Latin rhythms with searing guitars; heavy hitting grooves and hypnotic harmonies Pilot Jonezz is an alternative rock quartet currently electrifying stages in the Tampa Bay Area through a Deft blending of Post Punk, Soul-Punk, RnB, Hip-Hop, Funk and Breakbeat elements into an energizing, psychedelic, groovy sound that hints at the alternative underground of the 80's and 90's.
