Rick & Andrea Carpitcher Biography

Those who know Rick & Andrea Carpitcher know them for their warm personality and an undeniable passion for God. This husband and wife team founded their ministry with a real desire to see lives forever changed by the power of the Holy Spirit. Rick & Andrea place a great deal of emphasis on encouragement, heartfelt worship, and stirring inspiration.

Rick Carpitcher was born-again at the age of eight, and it was then he began honing his talents on the old church piano where his father pastored. In late 2001, Rick began touring with the nationally known TONEY BROTHERS QUARTET where he was pianist from 2001-2004. During his tenure, Rick performed on the mainstage of the National Quartet Convention, the Jubilee-At Sea Cruise, Dollywood, and the Gospel Music Television World Premier. Rick is also an honorary KINGSMEN QUARTET member, having performed with the famed group at many special events over the last several years.

Andrea Carpitcher's earliest influence was hearing her mother sing in church as her father ministered among his Native people.  It was during those tender years she accepted Christ into her heart.  Andrea's talents were recognized at the 2010 National Quartet Convention where she was awarded First Place along with a mainstage appearance in its annual talent search.  Rick & Andi (as her friends know her) were wed in 2007 and have been ministering as THE CARPITCHERS for several years.  They now minister simply as "RICK & ANDREA CARPITCHER." The couple shares a unique heritage in that they are both Native American.  They make their home in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, with their three children - Kirsten, Jasmine, and Benjamin.
