Canadian indie hard rockers PUDDY have returned to active status after a long hibernation with a blistering upcoming release. "DEMAGOGO" (release Q3, 2024) is a collection of big, bashy tracks that will give hard rock listeners a fresh, potently authentic experience sure to occupy full-time positions on playlists, turntables and cassette decks for years to come.


Co-Produced by Andy Curran (Envy of None) and Paolo Rizzo (guitar, vox), and mixed by Vic Florencia (Danko Jones), the album features PUDDY's signature combo of infectious fuzzy grooves, punk rock soul and giant melodic hooks - in a tighter, more explosive package than ever


Drawing from experience and frustration only decades of setbacks and perseverance could manifest, The 1st single "What Do You Want?", is the perfect primer for PUDDY's upcoming LP. Powerful and honest hard rock n' roll from the great white north.


The accompanying video, produced “in-house” and directed by Rizzo, is a perfect pairing for the lyrical themes in the single - and a DIY technical achievement in its own right. Throughout, the band is seen raging and hurling invective towards an omniscient “architect” in a hazy limbo. The scene is meant to symbolize a blind stupor and anger at malevolent forces from beyond. Stages of processing life-altering events and unexpected twists. An apt metaphor for a group whose trajectory has spanned decades; Defiantly challenging the odds and weaving along a path littered with countless villains, obstacles and detours.


The next two singles “It Has A Name” and “Under Your Tongue” are set to drop and videos are currently in production. The full DEMAGOGO album and vinyl will be released in Q3 with tour dates to follow.
