For the first time Richard Peña presents his album "Pandemik" live at the California Clipper, Chicago About the Album: The young jazz guitarist Richard Peña joins the Institute of Puerto Rican Culture to present “Pandemik”, a musical proposal that faces the new social reality with verve and vitality. Thanks to the sponsorship of the ICP and the NEA, the musical minds of Richard Peña, Giovanny Rodríguez, Jesús Colón and William García come together to create and perform original compositions based on his experiences during these times of pandemic. These 8 songs in music video format and with influences from jazz, rock, pop, avant-garde and even film music express the artistic and humanitarian feeling about the new reality in which we live and how we can adapt to it. Through the different sound elements of the quartet, each of these young people share their souls and stories to the rest of the world to unite them with the voice of empathy, hope and vigor.
