TOQUE Returns to Moose Jaw. River Street Promotions is thrilled to announce that Homestand ‘24 will be held in Moose Jaw at Ross Wells Park on Saturday, September 7, 2024. For the fourth year, the historic ball park will once again be transformed into Moose Jaw’s biggest concert venue and will feature a diverse roster of icons, heroes and rising stars for music fans of all tastes. Headlining the event is 54-40. These Vancouver based Canadian Music Hall of Famers and Canadian Songwriting Hall of Fame inductees bring a catalogue of radio hits that have been the soundtrack of Canadian summers for over four decades. The return of TOQUE to Moose Jaw will make Homestand ’24 the party of the year. The band features Moose Jaw’s Own, Cory Churko on lead guitar. Multiple CCMA Award and Juno Award winning country duo Doc Walker will deliver their signature harmonies and top ten hits to the Ross Wells Stage. In addition to these iconic acts, Homestand ’24 proudly features three Saskatchewan artists — roots songstress Belle Plaine, Moose Jaw’s own Trick Ryder, and the infectious soul of The Steadies. Says James Murdock of River Street Promotions, “After the unprecedented success of Homestand ’23, we look forward to welcoming these amazing artists to our city as well as shining a light on our homegrown Saskatchewan talent. We are excited to work to pack the park and make this the most successful Homestand yet.” River Street Promotions is a volunteer driven, non-profit organization which uses entertainment to promote wellness in our community through education and awareness. Since its’ inception, Homestand has welcomed such musical luminaries as Corb Lund, Matt Mays, Nice Horse, Chilliwack, Lindi Ortega, and Barney Bentall to Moose Jaw. The annual event has raised over 300,000 dollars to benefit youth well being initiatives in the Prairie South and Holy Trinity school divisions, and to assist with the continued beautification of Ross Wells Park. Tickets for Homestand ’24 will be available on April 19 at the Moose Jaw Cultural Centre Box Office. These guys are top notch entertainers. Never a dull moment during the entire show, they just kept it going with hit after hit. They had the audience eating out of the palm of their hand so-to-speak.

Canadian Classic Rock, Plus Our Original Music Too!

In 2012, Todd Kerns, Brent Fitz and Cory Churko took time out of their busy schedules playing with Slash and Kelly Clarkson to band together and play a charity event in Winnipeg, Canada. They decided the theme of the night was to play only Canadian classic music. With a setlist comprised of tunes by such greats as Streetheart, Queen City Kids, Kim Mitchell, Loverboy, Saga, Platinum Blonde, Harlequin and Aldo Nova, they played to a packed house raising money for Cancer research.

The night was such a success that they decided to put together a record to celebrate the best in Canadian Music and remake the songs that influenced and inspired their careers. Toque was born!

We have played NHL, Grey Cup Parties @ CFL games, Monsters on The Mountain (Gatlinburg TN) Edmonton Elks halftime, Juno events, City Concerts in Surrey, Medicine Hat, Taber, Private Events, Casinos, Classic Rock Festivals.
