The Great Unknown are simultaneously sweet and gritty, acoustic and electric, and blues and roots. They are three songwriters, two vocalists, two guitarists, double and electric bass, drums and percussion. They are not defined by genre so much as being taken where their original songs lead them. In 2024 they're back with their new album, ‘Dirt and Bones’. Ten tracks that again traverse a wide range of influences and styles, that lyrically address as many varied emotions too. They will be launching their new album at George Lane. The Great Unknown consists of musicians from a mix of blues, country, rock and jazz backgrounds, who together work across the common territories in between to present their own distinctive take.
