Joan Bessie Biography
The self-titled debut “Joan Bessie” (2018) featured top talent, including; Producer/Engineer Elisa Pensaeng and Juno Award winning Producer/Mixer Ben Kaplan (Mother Mother, Corb Lund, Biffy Clyro), Drummer Ali Siadat (Mother Mother), Composer/Producer Mary Ancheta, and Bassist Darren Parris (Carley Ray Jepsen, Daniel Powter, Frazey Ford).
The lead single “G.G.”, spent 10 weeks on the CBC Music Top 20 chart, hitting #3.
Joan Bessie is currently touring to support the release of the Sophomore album, “Girls I’ve Lost” (2023). The album is already generating praise for its songwriting, artistry and production and fans are loving the live show.
