Patio the Band

Patio is a funk rock band founded in 2022 in Athens, GA. They set themselves apart from other bands with their intention to put the “fun” in funk music. Their signature dynamic rhythm and tight, syncopated grooves crowns them the most popular female-led funk rock band in local music scene, packing out shows across the south east and playing music festivals and venues such as the 40-Watt, as well as a sold-out Smith's Olde Bar.

Each member brings a unique element to the band that creates it's own unique and notable sound: Nikki Shotz (vocals) is a powerhouse with a sound that resembles Susan Tedeschi, Jason Angelich (guitar) transitions from smooth to heavy hitting at the snap of you fingers, Andrew Wright (bass) with so much packet, they call him "cargo pants," Connor Beitzell (keys) hones it in with jazzy licks, Zach Ross (drums) carries the beat with a heavy rock groove.
