Voices of the Valley - The Fron Male Voice Choir

Join us in remembrance of one of Britain's worst mining tragedies on the 90th anniversary of the Gresford disaster. On September 22, 1934, a devastating explosion and underground fire at Gresford Colliery claimed the lives of 266 miners. This poignant memorial concert will feature performances by the Fron Male Voice Choir, a top colliery brass band (to be announced), plus other esteemed artists. Through words and music, we will honour the memory of the fallen colliers and their grieving families and community. Ticket proceeds will benefit local charities supporting miners, their families, and mining communities. Doors open at 6:30pm for a 7:00pm start.
