The Savants of Soul Biography
The Savants of Soul are a 9-piece Soul band from the swamplands of Gainesville, Florida. They perform original soul music reminiscent of the Muscle Shoals Sound. Inspiration can be clearly heard from the iconic and legendary music of the 60's and 70's associated with Stax Records and Atlantic Records. They bring songs of Passion, Joy, and Perseverance in the face of all odds to every stage they take. Their music will bring you back to a time when the scene was louder, sweeter, full of pride and defiant positivity. An evening with The Savants will leave you smiling and wanting more. Having made their mark in the southeast with tours and festival appearances, along with brief stints to the north and southwest, they are always forging new paths to bring the joy and love of sweet Soul music to everyone who will listen.
