The Boom Yeh Biography
An intoxicating brew of jazz, funk, rock, disco and global rhythm, The Boom Yeh are an original London based band renowned for their high level musicianship and electrifying live performances.
They have sold out shows at Ronnie Scott’s (London), EFG London Jazz Festival, Pizza Express Soho, Ealing Jazz Festival, The Elgar Room (Royal Albert Hall) and Manchester Jazz Festival. They have also supported artists including Roy Ayers, Fred Wesley and Light Of The World.
Garnering the support of music publications including Blues And Soul and Echoes, they have received international airplay via BBC Radio 6, Jazz FM, Mi-Soul (UK), Radio Nova (France), Radio X (Germany) and KEXP (USA). “Turn It Up”, the lead tune from the band’s 2015 E.P “Darkstar”, has become a regular playlist staple for club DJ’s far and wide.
