Bo Spring Band Biography
The Band gigs along the Gulf Coast and has opened for Matt Stillwell, MacKenzie Mills and Florida Georgia Line as well as playing festivals like the Destin Seafood Festival, Scallop Festival, Paddle Jam, Apalachicola's Oktober Fest and the Blast on the Bay Songwriters Festival. They stay busy working on an Americana influenced album and recently completed a songwriting project for the official advertising campaign for Mexico Beach recorded in Donnie Sundal's Neptone Records Studio. Their audiences can expect a harmony packed show with songs that span the genres from bluegrass to rock. Recently stretching their songwriting wings, Lauren and Bo have played with Nashville heavy hitters Jerry Salley, Charlie and Dana Black and Will Nance. Playing with Charlie and Dana led to a co-right with the Blacks in 2013 called "Laying Low." They released their single, To & Fro, that same year featuring famed Nashville pedal steel player Bruce Bouton (Garth Brooks' Band) and soon signed the song with True Fangled Music out of Nashville. They were also named a Semi-Finalists in the 2013 International Song Competition for To & Fro and it is currently on hold for a TV/Film projects with Mach 1 Ent. One of Bo's song's called Wait A While is also under consideration for an tv series with HBO. Released in 2014, their song "Gethsemane" was recently tapped by Sonorous Entertainment in March of 2015 for a gospel project to be released by Universal Records. Main Stage slots at both the 2015 Destin Seafood Festival and the 2015 Florida Scallop and Music Festival Folk Roots Band
