About this concert
Australians, award winning vocalist Michelle Nicolle and NYC based trumpeter, Nadje Noordhuis and bassist, Jay Anderson are jazz artists at the top of their game - challenging what their instruments are supposed to do. In a chordless trio, they lovingly explore standards and original repertoire allowing the trumpet, voice and double bass space to roam, discover and soar.
"Michelle is a singer born to sing, born to charm, enlighten and seduce through music.” Kurt Elling
