About this concert
In 2021, Denton, TX band Fishboy unveiled "Waitsgiving," a narrative album featuring ten songs centered around a fictional holiday celebrating patience. Following its debut, the band transformed this holiday into a real-life tradition, joining the community of Denton annually on the courthouse lawn. This year marks the fourth Waitsgiving, featuring a full-band acoustic performance, a walking tour of the album's historic inspirations, and the continuation of cherished traditions. Thank you for your patience, and see you at Waitsgiving!

Fishboy Biography
Fishboy is a Denton, TX indie rock band with an unhealthy love of power pop and narrative songwriting. Founded in 2001 by native Texan Eric Michener, the group has released a handful of story based albums, EPs, and seven inch records that are often accompanied with comics and paintings by Michener.
