About this concert
Artists began painting in Atlanta and around the state on Saturday, April 13. Tonight, everyone is back in Atlanta and ready to exhibit a painting or two - work created during their first few days in Georgia. We welcome our invited Artists. Reception attendees can meet, engage, purchase original artwork while enjoying lite hors’doeuvres and beverages. Music by The Rob Platner Trio.

Rob Platner Trio Biography
Rob Platner has been playing music in the Atlanta area for over 20 years - fronting the jam rock bands Tone Mutts and Jango Monkey. The Rob Platner Trio is a "kinder, gentler" side of things with the focus on edgy songs made prettier with the accompaniment of cello (David Goo) and piano (Blair Price). The trio (feel free to call them RP3) also occasionally interprets obscure covers (Vic Chesnutt, Alejandro Escovedo, Townes Van Zandt, Paul Westerberg, Jon Dee Graham, Nathan Moore) and classic rock (Tom Petty, Beatles, Phish, Pink Floyd, Grateful Dead, Wilco). RP3 loves to play for quiet listening rooms, house concerts, patios, breweries, wineries, and regional venues that encourage an intimate listening experience.
