Justin Hawkes United States-based producer Justin Hawkes, formerly known as Flite, brings a unique musical dynamic to the table. His range of production is what sets him apart in the leagues of global Drum & Bass producers, sculpting between raw power-infused anthems and intricate cinematics full of atmosphere and subtext, as well as many performances of his own vocals. With a long catalog of works under Flite, his new era as Justin Hawkes represents a refined look into his musical expression. Accumulating DJ and radio support from some of the world's top DJs, such as Andy C, Porter Robinson, RL Grime, Netsky, Friction, Sub Focus, Wilkinson, and many more, Justin's music has resonated through top clubs and festivals across the globe. Amassing more than 35 million streams from his various works, his music details a unique dichotomy of club and listener favorites. The Virginia-born designer turned Drum & Dass artist launched his debut as Flite in 2013 with the track 'Blue Spark', supported by YouTube Drum & Dass promoter Liquicity. Justin's career shifted momentum in 2017, with his debut EP 'The Cure' dropping on Liquicity Records. Since then, he has worked with notable labels all across dance music, such as UKF, Monstercat, Hospital Records, RAM Records, and more. 2020 saw the birth of a new era. High in energy through a tumultuous 2020, Justin cemented his 10-year journey as a producer by launching into the new alias 'Justin Hawkes,' leaving behind a legacy as Flite and powering through to the next level of his career. Within the next few years, Justin saw festival play at EDC Vegas, Lost Lands, Rampage Open Air, and many other significant US and European festivals, bringing a furious performing energy and stage presence to each show. His debut LP 'Existential' was released in 2022, with multiple nominations for the Drum&BassArena annual awards for best album and best track, his out-of-leftfield Country Rock DNB anthem 'Better Than Gold.' Following the success of ‘Existential,’ Justin teamed up with fellow North American DNB champion Bensley in 2023 for a slew of festival appearances and UKF-driven single ‘Don’t Be Scared,’ further reinforcing their unique and charismatic expressions on Drum & Bass as North Americans. Best known for his ever-exciting energy as a producer, mirrored by his flow and firey enthusiasm as a DJ, Justin's movements across the world have cemented him as a representative for Drum & Bass from North America, part of a fresh wave of talent bringing new life to the venerable Drum & Bass scene. Kumarion Defining the sonic border of aggression and harmony, forward-thinking Drum & Bass producer Kumarion is reimagining the capabilities of modern sound design. Born in Seattle, WA, Omar Kadmiri’s music career took shape after becoming enraptured with the Drum & Bass (DnB) genre in 2011. Exposed to the punk/reggae scene, Kadmiri found admiration in the culture as well as the chaotic style of Dub/Jungle music. He began making dark, melodic music on his own, subsequently forging his current moniker, Kumarion, in 2015. The Kumarion project pulls from Kadmiri’s North African/Middle Eastern heritage, utilizing a design and production aesthetic that lends heavily to his roots. Inspired by creative, genre-defining acts like Noisia and Clams Casino, Kumarion composes a wide range of bass music that utilizes distorted sine compression bass and evil-sounding reeses. Kumarion has quickly garnered acclaim and accolades to make a fixed impression on today’s bass music scene. His track, “Want It,” stole the show during the abrupt 2020 festival season, earning co-signs from Clozee, Feed Me, JOYRYDE, Madeon, & RL Grime. Since its February 2020 release, the track has accumulated over 7.4 million streams on Spotify and contributed to year-end honors from YourEDM (“Top 40 Artists To Watch”), Run the Trap (Top 20 Trap Songs of 2020), and FUXWITHIT (Top 50 Songs of 2020). Kadmiri has since followed his debut with releases on Crucast, Monstercat, UKF, Deadbeats, and a return to Jadu Dala. Following a busy year of touring in 2021, he went on a Co-Headline tour in 2022 with fellow DnB kingpin, REAPER, capping things off with their heavily supported single, “The Uprising.” Kumarion finished 2022 with a bang on Billboard’s 10 Dance Artists To Watch list due to his ability to connect with listeners everywhere. Coast-to-coast performances at countless clubs and festivals in 2023 marked even more progression as he continued his tirade toward DnB domination. With the community and contemporaries behind him, Kumarion is determined to deliver dynamic art that contributes to the continued prominence of drum & bass in America. Expect more releases in the 174 BPM range throughout 2024 and beyond.
