About this concert
Prima editie a Rock’n’RO Festival isi deschide portile in perioada 14-16 iunie 2024.
Este primul mare festival de rock open-air organizat in judetul Salaj, indelung asteptat si printre putinele festivaluri daca nu chiar singurul axat exclusiv pe genurile rock glam / hard-rock / heavy-metal din Romania. Pretul intrarilor am prefera sa fie considerate doar corecte, nu mici… Bine, in comparatie cu altele chiar sunt mici… Dar asa trebuie sa fie la un festival… sa si-l permita oricine. Rock-ul nu ar trebui sa faca niciodata diferente de statut social.
Organizat de Rock’n’Roll Center, festivalul isi propune o scena nebuna si extrem de energizanta ce doar “pe-afara” se mai intalneste. Vrem sa aratam cum e sa pleci de la un concert si sa nu stii cu ce sa incepi a povesti altora… sa fii in delir… sa te intrebi de ce nu s-a intamplat asta mai devreme.
Dupa zeci de ore de auditii si analize am considerat ideali pentru aceasta prima editie de trei zile urmatorii artisti (confirmati pana la aceasta ora):
H.e.a.t. (SE), Axxis (DE), Bonfire (DE), Temple Balls (FIN), Speed Stroke (IT), Amalgama (RU), Superhorror (IT), Twister (HU), Tuzmadar (HU), Stiff Kicks (RO), Mustang (RO), Ataria (RO)… unii dintre ei in premiera pentru Romania. Asteptam confirmarile pentru inca tei artisti cel putin la fel de nebunatici pe scena.
Ordinea trupelor pe scena (conform afisului) este aproximativa. Line-up-ul exact se va anunta in perioada 01-05.05.2024. Programul de concerte va fi intre orele 16,00 – 24,00.
Biletele se vor putea achizitiona online de aici (ambilet.ro) sau direct de la Rock’n’Roll Center Zalau.
Copii cu varste intre 12-16 ani (impliniti pana la data de 16 iunie inclusiv) vor avea reducere in baza prezentarii unor documente (certificat nastere si carnet elev cu fotografie) Copiii sub 12 ani au acces gratuit.
Biletele cu valabilitate de o zi pot fi folosite in oricare dintre cele trei zile de festival, la alegere.
Evenimentul se va desfasura intr-o zona exceptionala din muntii Meses, pe drumul inspre localitatea martir Treznea (jud. Salaj), la aproximativ 10 km de mun. Zalau (2 km din varful Mesesului). In toate sectoarele din zona festivalului este asigurat acces lejer persoanelor cu handicap locomotor.
Participantii vor avea asigurat transport Zalau-Festival si retur, gratuit sau contra sumei echivalente cu cea a transportului urban din oras.
In spatiul dedicat festivalului se poate parca si campa (corturi & rulote) contra unor sume de bun simt care vor include cate o cafea sau ceai in fiecare dimineata. Motocicletele vor avea asigurata parcarea gratuit. Zona este securizata si pe timp de noapte.
Sunt interzise aprinderea focurilor de catre participanti precum si patrunderea in incinta cu alimente, bauturi, substante interzise si obiecte ce pot provoca rani altor persoane. Ca la orice astfel de festival, unele norme de siguranta igienico-sanitare sau de securitate sunt absolut necesare si chiar impuse de lege.
In cazul alimentelor si bauturilor pot exista exceptii individuale aprobate de organizator.

I travelled 4 hours from Yeovil in Somerset got there at 8.30 to hear H.E.A.T play another awesome gig. Saw them in Swansea. Seen skid row reckless love the treatment battle beast all in the last 2-3 months all good but these guys are top of the tree - shame there wasn’t a bigger crowd but the 8 hour round trip was well worth it and would do it again to hear these guys

H.E.A.T
H.E.A.T, the Swedes who are making 80s-influenced hard rock fashionable once again, released a new album via earMUSIC in 2022. Their seventh studio record, ‘Force Majeure’ marked the return of the band’s original singer, Kenny Leckremo, after an absence of a decade. ‘Force Majeure’ is an appropriate title. These 11 songs distil the joy of melodic hard rock at its purest and finest. Having co-founded the band in Upplands Väsby, the same suburb of Stockholm that had previously birthed Europe, Kenny Leckremo steps up to deliver a vocal masterclass on ‘Force Majeure’.
Whilst the Grönwall-fronted H.E.A.T was content to push the envelope a little with their 2017 album ‘Into The Great Unknown’, more experimental tracks such as ‘Time On Our Side’ causing heated debate among the group’s fans, this time there’s zero pussyfooting around. With ‘Force Majeure’ H.E.A.T sound laser-focused on delivering a very particular direction that melds their youthful early records and what Leckremo calls the “slightly edgier sound” of the records made with Erik. Behind the scenes, H.E.A.T are now signed directly to earMUSIC for the first time, a development that brings a sense of continuity to their plans around the globe.
Following the departure of Erik Grönwall, the former Swedish Idol winner who voiced four albums, H.E.A.T insist that Leckremo was the only man they considered for the role of the group’s frontman. Following hymns of praise for their 2022 album “Force Majeure”, H.E.A.T promise to deliver more of the same energy in 2023. It was the band’s idea to celebrate the bond to their loyal fans and to create a strictly limited collector’s item: “Extra Force” is set to be released on September 1st, 2023, and includes a collection of new studio tracks, unreleased live recordings, and H.E.A.T classics previously sung by Erik Grönwall, now for the first time with original singer Kenny Leckremo on vocals. The specially priced longplayer comes as limited CD Digipak and limited 1LP Black Vinyl. “Extra Force” is a must-have addition to any H.E.A.T fan’s collection!
