About this concert
Southside-based trio, Aris Paul Band is releasing their 3rd studio album: Tracksuit Formal. The latest outing is a "mob rock opera" loosely combining the familiar elements of a Martin Scorsese film with Pittsburgh's historic Southside. The album is an all baritone, hard funk rock collection of tall tales, urban folklore, and stories we can neither confirm, nor deny.

Aris Paul Band Biography
Aris Paul Band mines a groove where blues and soul meet power pop and twang, and where the power trio meets the jam band. Their album, GHOSTS, fine tunes the 'red-eyed road rock' ethic they established on their 2018 debut, Drive All Night with laser-like focus. “With this record we've really found our sound,” says bandleader Aris Paul. “It's brighter, like neon daylight. A little angsty, a little rock and roll, all blues, roots and soul.” GHOSTS was a mainstay for four months on the Top 50 Rock Album Chart, with the single “Southside Serb” featured in the March 2021 issue of Relix Magazine, and their track “Better Man's Shoes” was named Best Rock Song of 2021 at the Hollywood Music In Media Awards.
