About this concert
SunFest, a beloved annual event celebrating music and art in South Florida, has long been a beacon for music enthusiasts, drawing in top-tier acts from around the world. However, this year, the festival is not just focusing on national sensations but also on nurturing local talent. SunFest is shining a light on local Florida bands and bringing fresh sounds to their new community stage this year, known as the ‘Sandbar Stage, powered by the F-150 Lightning.’ SunFest is a four-day annual music and art festival held in downtown West Palm Beach, Florida. It takes place along the Intracoastal Waterway in Flagler Drive, between Banyan Boulevard and Lakeview Avenue. The festival has been held since 1982 and is the largest waterfront music festival in Florida. In 2024, SunFest will take place from May 3–5 and will feature over 25 performers, food vendors, activations, and bars. The newly added local acts to the SunFest lineup for the Sandbar Stage include a diverse range of musical styles and genres, ensuring there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

buko boys Biography

"Buko '' meaning "coconut," in Tagalog, is a reflection of the zany nature of this sun-kissed indie pop band from Miami, FL. Staying true to their indie/DIY roots and immediately leveraging a distribution deal with Warner Music Philippines, the self-produced band ignited their trajectory with 4 back-to-back singles in 2023, including “boho babe,” boasting 10 major Spotify Playlist placements, with Fresh Finds in 5 different countries.

No strangers to the indie-rock scene, the band is composed of front men Andy Gil (Mid-Day Moon), Raquel Lily , aron! (Sunny Side Up!), Martin Castor (mart) and Sebastian Crow (Shivva), bringing their controlled chaos to every stage they hit.
