Home Reared Meat ist eine 6 köpfige Deathmetal-Combo mit ihren Roots im Emsland die nun seit fast 5 Jahren ihr Unwesen treiben.
Die Fleischliebhaber schmeißen eine ganze Palette an Genres in den Mixer, geben etwas Schweineblut und ne Dose Bier dazu und so entsteht ihr typischer Sound. Von fressepolierenden Grindcore-Passagen über Groovige-Oldshool-Death Elemente bis hin zu aggressiven Hardcore Jump-Up „Fuck You“ Parts ist alles vertreten. Recht unkonventionell treiben gleich zwei Sänger den Blutdruck in die Höhe. Von böser Untergangsmelodie bis zum Moshpitgeballer kommt jeder auf seine Kosten.
2009 erschien die erste 4-Track Demo „Broootal“ in Eigenregie, diese wurde online released und steht bis heute kostenlos zur Verfügung.
2012 folgte dann die 8-Track Walze „Butchery“. Das Album wurde von keinem geringeren als Jörg Uken im Soundlodge Studio produziert, der u.a. auch Genre-Meister wie Dew-Scented, Obscenity und Cliteater als Stammgäster verbucht. 2014 kam der langersehnte Longplayer „Euthanasie-Goreng“ in Eigenregie auf den Markt. 12 mal geballter Hass und Zerstörung! Nach einigen Lineupwechseln ist die Band jetzt stärker als je zuvor. Im April 2016 konnte mit Hilfe des Underground-Labels Kernkraftritter Records der Longplayer "Euthanasie-Goreng" Re-Released werden.

Home Reared Meat is a 6-man death metal band with their roots in the north/west of Germany and are now for almost 5 years up to mischief.
The meat lovers throw a whole range of genres in the blender, add some pig's blood and a can of beer and that’s how they create their typical sound. From face smashing grindcore passages via groovy-oldschool death parts though to aggressive hardcore jump-up "Fuck You" parts everything is represented. Rather unconventional, two singers are driving up your blood pressure. From evil doom melody up to moshpitbanging everyone gets his charge.
In 2009 they released their first 4-track E.P. "Broootal" on their own. Released online only and is still available for free.
In 2012 the 8-track L.P. "Butchery" followed. The album was produced by none other than Jörg Uken in the “Soundlodge” studio, genre masters like Dew-Scented, Obscenity and Cliteater are regular guests for their recordings.
