Killer dirty-soul outfit Blues Arcadia continue to inject fresh new energy
into 21st century rhythm and blues, bringing their signature swagger,
style and musical sensitivity back home to Brisbane following electrifying
performances on stages everywhere from Far North QLD to Adelaide,
including two barnstorming shows at the legendary Byron Bay Bluesfest earlier this
year. Their recent release Now Or Never saw the dynamic five-piece
making fresh forays into funk and jazz, while never straying too far from
their grounding in the blues, earning 4.5 stars from The Australian
Weekend Review, 5 stars from Rhythms Magazine and causing US
magazine Blues Blast to claim “with them, the future of blues is secure”.
Beretta and Sullivan are two of Australia’s most respected blues
musicians who have joined together in a project that preserves the
origins of blues music. Nathan Beretta is a young veteran of the blues
scene whose jaw-dropping guitar style has made him a name to be
reckoned with. Dan Sullivan is front man of Tomcat Playground and a
master of the blues harmonica, and plays tribute to the masters of the
1950s and '60s with every breath of his harp.
Drawing influence from some of the masters of the genre like Ronnie Earl,
Albert Collins, Little Walter and Sonny Boy Williamson, Beretta and
Sullivan will transport you back to the raw and vital sounds of the blues
as it was always meant to be.

Blues Arcadia Biography
Blues Arcadia combines the legendary soul of Stax and Motown with the heat and power of the Chicago and Memphis blues to create a unique dirty-soul sound delivered with swagger, style and sensitivity.
Three-time Australian Blues Music Award winners and Australian Roots Music Award nominees, the song-writing partnership of vocalist Alan Boyle and guitarist Chris Harvey is completed by collaborators and partners-in-crime Jeremy Klysz (bass), Paula Girvan (keys) and Casper Hall (drums).
