Caruthers & DeLane Biography
Alex Caruthers and Mike DeLane have been performing together since 2021, playing festivals, private parties, clubs, bars, restaurants, and dance halls across Texas. The group is known for their engaging and rich performances, with a large repertoire of covers, from 50’s to contemporary, rock to pop, and everything in between. The group features many original songs in the genre of alternative/ southern rock. The group performs primarily as a duo, but also performs as a three, four, or five piece band depending on the venue.
With a love for R&B music, Alex Caruthers first starting singing and playing the guitar in 2013. An avid traveler, he frequently visits the beaches of Latin America, where he finds rich influence for his original music.
Mike DeLane began playing music at 4 as a classically trained pianist and since then has developed a passion for a wide variety of instruments. As an engineer, he modifies much of the musical gear he uses, helping him to develop a rich and original tone.
