Jay Walsh

Jay Walsh is best known as the singer-songwriter and lyricist for the indie-rock band The Douglas Fir. Walsh has released several critically acclaimed albums with The Douglas Fir, the most recent of which, California Memory, was mixed by Brad Wood. Walsh has shared the stage with artists such as Metric, Tanya Donelly, Pernice Brothers, Grant Lee Phillips, Rhett Miller, and others. In 2019 Walsh co-wrote a song for the motion picture Windows on the World that was sung and recorded for the movie by David Hidalgo of Los Lobos. Walsh currently resides in San Francisco where he is recording a solo album.
