State Street Wine Company presents: A Tale of Two Cities Songwriters Night. Bringing two original songwriters from two cities steeped in a rich music tradition, this intimate listening room event will feature Elliott Humphries of Mebane and Russell Henderson of Greensboro sharing their original songs in the round. With an instantly recognizable voice and introspective lyrics, Elliott Humprhies' music has be described as a blend of Americana, folk, and pop. Originally from a small town in east Tennessee, Elliott's music is characterized by its heartfelt storytelling and emotional depth. Russell Henderson has been writing, recording, and performing original music since the late 90s. He is best known for his solo recordings and performances. His most recent record, mudlarking, is a celebration of his influences, including Tom Petty, The Byrds, and Toad the Wet Sprocket.
