Le composizioni originali di India e le reinterpretazioni dei brani che lo hanno influenzato maggiormente si fondono in un linguaggio unico, restituendo una sonorità originale e tutta da scoprire. Stefano India Biography

Stefano India has built a versatile career as a bassist and double bassist, exploring a wide range of
musical genres and styles.

He has performed at renowned international festivals and venues such as
“Circus@Jazzahead!”, "Boullard Musique" in Switzerland, "A to Jazz" in Bulgaria, "Deva Jazz
Fest" in Romania , “Blue Note Milan” and “Casa del Jazz” Rome in Italy, to name a few.

Stefano India has collaborated with both national and international artists, showcasing his
exceptional musical talent.
His live performance experience includes notable musicians such as Matteo Mancuso, John Serry,
Mimmo Cafiero, and participation in productions alongside Peter Erskine, Raphael Gualazzi,
Fabrizio Bosso, Greg Field, Monica Mancini, Bebo Ferra, Nico Gori, and Salvatore Bonafede,
across a range of ensembles from combo to jazz and symphony orchestras.

As part of his ongoing collaboration with Matteo Mancuso, Stefano India played a crucial role as
bassist in the album 'The Journey' released by the prestigious Mascot Label Group, known for
artists like Steve Vai, Joe Bonamassa, and Toto. Not only he contributed to the album but also
featured in the music videos for the singles 'Silkroad' and 'Drop D.'
Additionally, he joined various tours across Italy and Europe in support of this project.

In Stefano India's latest project, "Stefano India - Drop the Bass 4et" he showcases his original
compositions and music that have profoundly influenced his musical journey. His diverse musical
influences, ranging from rock, progressive, and fusion to classical and jazz, reverberate through his
performances.
