Johnny Nasty Boots is an LA-based, Mexico- originating rock artist bringing the roots of
the psychedelic and blues sounds of 60s and 70s into the souls of the people of today,
creating an effortlessly gripping modern energy that has resulted in their single, Deadline,
becoming Reactor 105.7 FM (Mexico City's #1 rock station) song of the year.
Their first, self titled album was recorded at Sonic Ranch (Texas), under the production of
Grammy award winner Yunuen Viveros and mastered at Vlado Meller by Jeremy Lubsey.
With 6 singles that came out from their debut and a live album Hollywood Affair (Live at the Whisky a Go Go), that was recorded at the iconic venue during their 2019 tour, Johnny Nasty Boots is well-known in the underground Mexico Rock scene.
After moving to Los Angeles, California in 2022, he's ready to release the new music he has been working on with Oscar Burgos on the drums. The self produced songs have been recorded with the Grammy award winner Mark Rains (Marilyn Manson, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Tanya Tucker) at Station House, mixed by Alain Johannes (Queens of the Stone Age, Them Crooked Vultures, Chris Cornell, Arctic Monkeys), and mastered again with Jeremy Lubsey at Vlado Meller.
The live show of the band is full of energy and, heavy jams, making every show special, Johnny Nasty Boots is a band you want to see live.

Johnny Nasty Boots, the high-energy rock artist based in Los Angeles, is gearing up to shake the music scene with their latest single, "Soho," releasing on all platforms on April 19 – the first single off of their new, highly anticipated EP.
Guitarist, singer, composer and producer Johnny Nasty Boots has been a constant figure of the Mexico City rock scene, as well as Los Angeles, where he relocated 2 years ago to make the next step in his career.
Following up his debut album, which included a #1 radio hit with “Deadline” and an international ad placement & sponsorship for Vans with "I'm Cursed", “Soho” is an electrifying rock n’ roll song about freedom and chasing your dreams, whatever it takes. The music video, filmed in the desert outside Los Angeles, further showcases that feeling of independence, bravery, and the people you meet along the way of achieving those goals.
"Soho'' marks an exciting new chapter for Johnny Nasty Boots, showcasing their signature blend of raw energy, iconic riffs and sonic textures, their evolution from their 2017 debut album is on clear display. Produced by Johnny and recorded and engineered by Grammy Winner Mark Rains (known for his work with Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Tanya Tucker, and Marilyn Manson) at the esteemed Station House Studios in Echo Park, "Soho" promises to captivate audiences with its bold sound proving that rock and roll isn’t dead!
To promote the release of Soho, Johnny Nasty Boots hits the road, starting with a single release party at the iconic "Whisky a Go-Go" on April 20, and three days later opening for 80's classic rock band Faster Pussycat on their spring tour, which will include 22 shows across the U.S., marking the biggest tour of Johnny Nasty Boots' career so far.
In addition to Rains' engineering, "Soho" boasts an impressive lineup of talent behind the scenes. The single was mixed by Alain Johannes (renowned for his work with Queens of the Stone Age, Them Crooked Vultures, Chris Cornell, and Arctic Monkeys) and mastered by Jeremy Lubsey at Vlado Meller's studio, ensuring that every sonic detail is meticulously sculpted to perfection.
