About this concert
Die Lagerfeuer Deluxe Abende sind über die letzten 11 Jahre Kult in der Kölner Musikszene geworden. Drei Künstler oder Bands präsentieren in intimer Atmosphäre die akustische Essenz Ihres Schaffens. Texte und Musik sind für die Zuhörer ganz nah erlebbar und dies führt zu einem meist höchst euphorischen Miteinander. Hierbei ist der musikalischen Vielfalt keine Grenze gesetzt. Da tauchen Singer Songwriter neben Hip Hop Acts oder Reggae Künstler neben Indie Bands auf. Aber alle müssen sich dem musikalischen Konzept des Lagerfeuer Deluxe unterordnen:
1. Jeder Act hat nur 20 Minuten, um das Publikum zu begeistern.
2. Das mit beschränkten Mitteln: Keine Drums, keine Verstärker, keine Effekte, eben Lagerfeuer Feeling.
3. Der Song steht im Mittelpunkt, der Sänger muss ihn rüberbringen.

Yes-Ja!
From Namibia to South Africa to Germany, Eric Sell a.k.a. EES, is moving up in the world and at a rapid pace. With 9 Albums’s under his belt he has ambition and is not about to slow down. His music style is a blend of Kwaito, African House, Afro Pop, Reggae, and has a really funky fresh spin to it. EES was born and bred in Namibia, and started to slowly get into music in 2001, creating a unique African vocal singing style.
Ever since he has been making a massive impact for Kwaito music outside of Africa and has received several awards of recognition including the MTV Listeners Choice award. Another Highlight is that EES just released his own energy drink called „WUMA“ (www.wuma-drink.com) & a new grill spice called “Nam Flava Spice” (www.namflava.com).
EES has never lost touch with his roots and in his lyrics, you can clearly hear the Afrikaans/English/German influence. All in all, EES is a very outgoing person who just wants his listeners to enjoy his music and experience what he lives for, Yes-Ja! – NAM Flava Music!
