About this concert
Anchor-Age Center is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation whose purpose is to improve living conditions for the elderly by providing seniors with access to resources that are key to senior living, health, and housing. Members enjoy benefits such as arts & crafts, computers classes, or fitness instruction and they can engage in recreational pursuits such as billiards, dancing, birthday parties, and other social events. These services are largely made possible by generous donations from the public. There are a variety of fundraising projects we engage in to cover our approximate $1,600,000 annual operating obligation. These include running a restaurant, gift shop, catering services, and individual room with facility rental services. Anchor-Age also sponsors fundraising with seasonal community events such as the fall bazaar, spring plant sale, book sales, raffles, Fur Rondy activities, fashion shows, and holiday buffets in addition to monthly activities such as Zumba parties, Bingo, and dances. At the heart of our fundraising efforts is our annual Garden Gala benefit, which allows us to recognize and thank our supporters. Tickets on sale soon.

KillBill Sax Biography

Raised in Anchorage, Alaska from the age of 3, Bill began playing the saxophone in grade school, and decided to never stop. After graduating from Indiana University, Bill moved to Atlanta, where he sat in at local jam sessions, eventually picking up a touring gig as member of the Platinum Soul Band with the Universoul Circus. Bill then moved to NYC, where he became a fixture on the village r&b scene, working and performing with some of the best-known musicians on the scene. While sitting in with The Black Soul Experience at Manhattan's Club Groove, frontman Antwon Robinson shouted impromptu "Kill Bill!," and the name stuck.

In 2017, Bill joined the B.B. King’s All-Stars Band, touring the Caribbean and Central America aboard Holland America cruise line. He has opened for Gerald Albright & Regina Belle, Al B. Sure!, Keith Washington, Peter White & Josh Vietti, and Ace Metaphor.
