Eliza May Biography
With her bubbly personality, iconic colourful hair and contagiously catchy tunes, Birmingham’s indie pop queen Eliza May stands out from the crowd. Using intricate harmonies and captivating melodies, Eliza’s unique vibe is refreshing the scene. 2023 saw Eliza release her highly anticipated EP “Candy Heart”. Taking inspiration from artists such as Paramore, Fickle Friends, Olivia Dean and The Wombats, this EP encompasses all the sugar sweet highs and sour lows you feel when truly falling in and out of love. Eliza's live shows are like a ray of sunshine; full of fun positive energy often leaving audiences feeling like they’re on cloud 9. She's headlined Sofar Sounds, played big festivals like Y Not? Festival and Brighton Pride, opened up the main stage at Pub in the Park and supported huge artists such as Kate Nash, Tiffany and Reverend and the Makers making the last two years her best to date. Currently in the studio, Eliza and her band are recording their best songs so far for their third EP which is due for release this year.
