DENMANTAU – ist die Devise der 5 Norddeutschen Indie-Musiker. Über 2000 Shows und
Street Performances auf 3 Kontinenten und 11 Ländern mit 4 Alben im Schlepptau – alles
komplett “Do It Yourself”.
Das pandemiebedingte Ausfallen Ihrer Club Tour 2020 hat die Hamburger Band nicht zum
stoppen gebracht.
Neben einer im Lockdown entstandenen “Homemade”-EP inklusive Stop Motion Musikvideo
von der ukrainischen Künstlerin Shenja Apfel, wurde fleißig am neuen Album “Strange Love”
geschrieben.
In gewohnter DenManTau-Manier werden auf dem fünften im Herbst erscheinenden Album,
welches sie in den Granny’s House Studios mit Produzent Jurik Maretzki (Liedfett, Kollektiv
22) aufgenommen haben, die Erfahrungen, Träume, Traumas und Sehnsüchte der
Hamburger Jungs auf künstlerische Art und Weise in tanzbare Banger verwandelt.
Diesen Sound beschreiben sie als Bohemian/Dance/Rock. Inspiriert von Bands wie Red Hot
Chili Peppers, Nine Inch Nails und Led Zeppelin gekreuzt mit dramatischen Texten und
Melodien à la Eddie Vedder oder Freddie Mercury integriert die Band verschiedene Stile in
ihre Musik.
DenManTau ist ein echtes Live Erlebnis, und genau deswegen wird man Sie im Herbst auf
den Festival- und Clubbühnen in ganz Deutschland und Europa zu sehen bekommen.

Denmantau has been a succesfull band for now 10 years. They have developed a unique genre that is now known as Trumpet/Rock. Their new sound combines many different genres like: Folk, Funk, Jazz, Rock and many others, leading to a rich variety of rhythms. With the sound of acoustic/electric-guitar and keys the singer and trumpet player Paul Weber, binds the whole package together with dramatic melodies and theatrical lyrics – especially the trumpet has a big recall value in all of their songs. On their musical trail they have gathered great momentum, having traveled half the world looking back on over 2500 gigs. In clubs and pubs, as well on the streets of Australia, New Zealand and Europe their spirit and passion for playing music has been welcomed. Coming back form their travels they recently won the biggest non profit newcomer contest (“Local Heroes“) of europe in 2011. Next to touring the world spreading their music, they have been involved in advanced music projects, rearranging their original songs with over 300 students, creating a succesfull musical. Having self-produced their first („Mess of Melodies“) and second EP („Street Pulse“) in a professional recording studio(„Capitano-Studios“) they were ready to conquer America's world of entertainment and music. A band of 5 best friends playing music together for 12 years traveling the world to spread love and their music! ♥
