About this concert

Highway Jack Biography
Highway Jack, founded in 2009, used to stand for straightforward rock ‘n roll, mainly influenced by bands like Danko Jones. Gradually their music evolved and nowadays they bring an accessible crossover mixing elements from various genres like progressive rock, hardcore, post-punk and pop-rock. This results in a fresh alternative rock sound where melodic leads, progressive licks and catchy vocals are combined.
In March 2014, they released their self-titled EP at an almost sold out ‘De Kreun’ in Kortrijk. On their debut release, songs are inspired by childhood dreams, social criticism, doomsday scenarios and loss of loved ones.
Several venues and festivals have already seen and confirmed their strong live reputation. In July 2014, they crossed the sea for a UK tour in the region of London presenting their EP.
Whoever has seen this four-piece band from West-Flanders since their beginning knows that they have already succumbed a long and eventful road. Their hard work and dedication brings them step-by-step closer to fulfilling their dream.
