About this concert
Exile formed in 1963 looking to play small clubs in Richmond, Kentucky but managed to top both the pop and country charts with eighteen hits collectively, including eleven No. 1s during their 60-year-long career. Their iconic smash hit, “Kiss You All Over,” spent four weeks at the top of Billboard’s pop chart in 1978. In the early 1980s, Exile started to focus on country music. During their run on the country charts, Exile had ten No. 1 singles, including “Woke Up In Love” and "Give Me One More Chance." The hit song "Kiss You All Over" was used in the 1996 Adam Sandler movie Happy Gilmore and the 2006 film Employee of the Month, among others. They have written hit songs for other major label artists, including Alabama, Diamond Rio, and Restless Heart. The five original Exile members re-formed in 2008 and continue to tour today. Current band members include J.P. Pennington, Les Taylor, Sonny LeMaire, Marlon Hargis, and Steve Goetzman. In 2023, Exile celebrated its 60th anniversary as a band and the 45th anniversary of the hit song “Kiss You All Over.” They are currently on tour promoting their most ambitious album project ever, A Million Miles Later, released in August 2023. Awesome as always!!! These guys defy all logic, they sound better now than ever!! Together for over 60 years and still touring and making new music!! It’s a shame they are not in the Country Music Hall of Fame, or members of the Grand Old Opry. They have the talent, reputation, and track record that surpasses many other artists who are members of both. Wake up Nashville and give these guys the credit they deserve!!!! Never again will we see a band like this!!!

Exile Band Official Biography

How many other bands formed in 1963 are still speaking to one another?

The country rockers, Exile are just that band. Achieving success with hit singles such as: “I Don’t Want To Be A Memory”, “Give Me One More Chance”, “She’s A Miracle”, “Crazy For Your Love”, “Hang On To Your Heart”, “I Could Get Used To You”, “It’ll Be Me”, “She’s Too Good To be True” and “I Can’t Get Close Enough,” All totaled they notched 11 number ones and a respectable host of top 10’s in the Epic years. The three gold albums, two Greatest Hits CDs, several multi-platinum singles and thirteen award nominations from the Academy of Country Music (ACM) and the Country Music Association (CMA) have solidified the band with icon status in country music.

...And now here they stand. Reinvigorated from the sabbatical; energized in making new music and reinforced by new appreciation of the good old days. They have learned a good bit along the way and the distilled wisdom tells them to not cast all their other interests aside as they embark on the new chapter.
