HOLY METAL FEST II WEDNESDAY 1ST OF MAY CIRCUS, LARISA Τέσσερις μπάντες από όλες τις γωνιές της ελληνικής επικράτειας ενώνουν τις δυνάμεις τους και δίνουν ραντεβού στο κέντρο, δηλαδή στην πόλη της Λάρισας. Την Τετάρτη (την μεγάλη) 1η Μαίου στο CIRCUS Entertaintment Hub έρχονται να ευλογήσουν τις άγιες τούτες μέρες με τους σκληρούς τους ήχους και να μας μιλήσουν για τα δικά τους πάθη. Στον εσπερινό/ολονυκτία του HOLY METAL FEST II θα συμμετάσχουν οι TELMA, ALLOCHIRIA, POTERGEIST και I SEE RUINS. Telma (alt/groove metal, Larisa) Οι Telma είναι ένα alt/groove metal συγκρότημα από την Ελλάδα. Ξεκίνησαν το 2021 βασισμένοι στο πάθος τους για τη βαριά μουσική και έναν ισχυρό σκοπό να δώσουν φωνή στις εσωτερικές συγκρούσεις που παλεύουν όλοι, μέσα από τα τραγούδια τους. Το πενταμελές συγκρότημα καταφέρνει να προσφέρει μια μοναδική μίξη oldschool φωνητικών, βαριάς κιθάρας και μπάσου riff μαζί με εκλεπτυσμένα, groovy τύμπανα. Οι Telma έχουν επιρροές από συγκροτήματα όπως οι Pantera, Metallica, Slipknot, Trivium, Alice In Chains, Linkin Park και Godsmack. Το πρώτο τους άλμπουμ "Eternal", κυκλοφόρησε το 2021 σε όλες τις μεγάλες ψηφιακές πλατφόρμες, σε CD και σε LP 12". Αυτή τη στιγμή, οι Telma έχουν ηχογραφήσει το δεύτερο άλμπουμ τους που πρόκειται να κυκλοφορήσει μέσα στο 2024. Kάνουν πολλές εμφανίσεις σε όλη την Ελλάδα και τον Δεκέμβριο του 2023 ολοκλήρωσαν με επιτυχία το πρώτο τους Ευρωπαϊκό/Βαλκανικό tour! Allochiria (post/prog/sludge, Athens) Allochiria is a heavy post-prog-sludge band formed in Athens, Greece in 2008. They have released one EP (2010) and three full-length albums: Omonoia (2014), Throes (Art of Propaganda, 2017) and Commotion (Venerate Industries, 2023). The band has played countless live shows and festivals throughout the years, sharing the stage with bands like Amenra, Social Distortion, Deafheaven, Year of No Light, Altar of Plagues, Toundra, Minsk, Harakiri for the Sky, Deaf Kids, and more. They have played big festivals like Desertfest Athens (2017), Rockstadt Extreme Fest in Romania (2014, 2018, 2023) and Rockwave Festival Athens (2022) and have been in four European tours (2015, 2018, May 2023, Oct 2023). The band is actively booking new shows for the coming months and more tours and festivals will be announced soon. Allochiria’s music is thematic; it revolves around humans as social beings, the corruption that defines them in modern societies, their vain struggles, painful routines and the consequences of their actions in the world around them. Potergeist (heavy rock, Athens) Η πενταμελής μπάντα των Αθηναίων Potergeist, κλείνει φέτος τα 20 χρόνια, κανοντάς την μιά από τις πρώτες και μακροβιότερες μπάντες της Ελληνικής heavy rock σκηνής. Στους 5 δίσκους τους έχουν συνεργαστεί τόσο στο ηχητικό όσο και στο εικαστικο κομμάτι με, τους παραγωγούς Dave Castillo (Opeth, Leprous, Katatonia, Carcass, Candlemass, Dark Tranquility etc.), Peter Rutcho (Danny Elfman, Parkway Drive, Falling in Reverse, DeezΝuts, Havoc etc.) και με τον θρύλο των rock poster Angry Blue (Metallica, Iggy Pop, Soundgarden, Lil Wayne, Pearl Jam, Blink 182, Faith No More, Guns and Roses etc.) Είτε πρόκειται για μεγάλα stages, έιτε για μικρές σκηνές οι Potergeist πάντα δίνουν όλη τους την ενέργεια στο σανίδι. - καθόλου τυχαίο εξάλλου δεν είναι το γεγονός πως έχουν μοιραστεί την σκηνή με τους Lynyrd Skynyrd, Black Label Society, Corossion of Conformity, Monster Magnet, Kylesa, Pro Pain, The Haunted, Cancer Bats, The Shrine, Paradise Lost κ.τ.λ. I See Ruins (metalcore, Thessaloniki) I See Ruins is a Greek five-member metal band founded in Thessaloniki in 2021. Its discography began with the release of the single 'Four Commands' in July 2022. The band's music is constantly evolving, but the group places it within the broad spectrum of modern metal. Other influences in I See Ruins' music mainly come from core hybrids. A memorable moment was the band's performance at the Schoolwave Festival stage in the summer of 2023. The group is currently in the preparation phase for the release of its first collective work. Coming from a country without a tradition in heavy sound, I See Ruins aim to establish themselves in the local scene while simultaneously spreading their sound beyond the borders of Greece. The themes they choose to communicate usually relate to social or personal issues. Noisy riffs intertwine with imposing growls, melodic refrains, and ambiences, leading to a current sound that entices the more daring listeners.
