Murphy, born in Bern-Wittigkofen, is a talented singer and songwriter whose musical journey is shaped by a fascinating life story. The beginnings of his family in Switzerland, who arrived in the 90s due to the Congo civil war, provide the backdrop for Murphy's artistic odyssey.

Even in his early childhood, Murphy displayed a lively passion for music and actively participated in the church choir. In 2016, he took the plunge into the world of music production, releasing his debut song, Dr Louf.

However, his real breakthrough came in 2018 with the release of the track Bango te, an authentic and original Afro-Rumba song. This not only garnered attention but also led to a collaboration with the prestigious label Universal Switzerland for the production of the EP Sucero.

Murphy's musical identity is multilingual and diverse, with lyrics in Swiss dialect, French, Lingala, English, and Spanish, setting him apart on the international stage. A milestone in his career was the opportunity to open for the renowned group MHD at X-TRA Zurich in 2019.

In addition to his musical pursuits, Murphy is also the founder of the clothing brand Killa. His versatility and entrepreneurial spirit are evident not only in his music but also in his non-musical projects.

The long-awaited album, Drinhooo Vol. 1, hard-fought by Murphy in 2022, continues to narrate his story.
