Amerigumbo

The Amerigumbo band performs an eclectic repertoire of classic rock, Motown, soul, funk, jazz, and blues—anything from Dizzy Gillespie to Steely Dan to James Brown and from Van Morrison to Jimi Hendrix. We have often described our music as American Gumbo”, a gumbo of American music with a zesty dose of heat and spice! Though based in San Pedro, California, our members come from diverse backgrounds, both musically and geographically. All having played professionally individually for decades, each member contributes their own unique musical experience to the band. And while we take great pride in our musicianship, we really love what we are doing and want to share this great music with audiences everywhere.
