Moira has taught extensively around the world. Her subject is the singing voice and its ability to encompass an astounding range of expressive, linguistic, and stylistic colours. Moira Smiley has influenced a generation of young Acapella and choral singers to study and perform folk harmony repertories, body percussion and polyphonic song. Her workshops encompass a truly unique blend of Conservatory training, ethnomusicological grounding, and fierce creativity. She is delighted to be in Australia, sharing her music with us. Singers and beginners are all welcome.
