Jenna Cowans and her accompanying musicians were stellar! The concert offered an eclectic repertoire of jazz, soul, blues and gospel, reimagined versions of popular hits such as Whitney Houston's 'I Wanna Dance With Somebody' and other 'Jennafied' classics by Canadian icons, Shania Twain and Alanis Morissette,
Jenna also delighted the audience by performing her own original song, called 'Lost'.
A great location under a huge tree and strings of edison lights, this wonderful summer 'gem' of a concert did not disappoint!

Jenna Cowans Biography
JENNA COWANS is an established vocalist and songwriter in the Greater Toronto Area. Growing up in a musical family, Jenna has been greatly influenced by her parents, who are the founders of the Juno Award-winning Toronto Mass Choir. Beginning with classical piano training at 5 and writing songs since she was 8, Jenna’s lifelong passion for music has thrilled audiences of all sizes across the GTA. She is a sought-after studio vocalist as well as a prolific songwriter and arranger.
Jenna graduated from Humber College’s renowned Jazz Music program, followed by a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music from York University. She has released 2 albums including “Insight”, which was nominated for two Urban/Soul Covenant awards. Her EP “Fearless: Acoustic” reached to number 11 on the iTunes R&B/Soul Charts. Jenna currently performs and teaches in the Toronto area throughout the jazz, R&B and classical communities.
