Exact 7 jaar zal het geleden zijn dat de indie/math/noiserockers van The Guru Guru ons podium onveilig kwamen maken. Intussen zijn ze met hun geheel eigen sound tot een vaste waarde uitgegroeid. Op hun nieuwste maatschappijkritische plaat 'Make (Less) Babies', die ze volledig zelf produceten, vertalen ze hun live sound en energie op het album, waardoor alles heel natuurlijk en organisch aanvoelt. Strakke energetische drums, diepe baslijnen, virtuoos scheurende gitaren in artistiek-expressieve songs die steeds verrassend catchy binnenkomen.
Live is The Guru Guru een must-see. Terwijl de energie van het podium komt gegutst, balanceert frontman Tom The Bomb op het randje van een theatrale psychose.
