Saturday, June 29, 2024, multi-talented musician, songwriter, and actor Charles Esten will perform at the Princess Theatre. He is a global entertainer who has made over 170 appearances at the iconic Grand Ole Opry. Esten is best known for his roles as “Ward Cameron” on Netflix’s Outer Banks and “Deacon Claybourne” on ABC/CMT’s Nashville. The global entertainer has headlined multiple tours in the U.S., Europe, and the U.K., performing at famed venues, including Royal Albert Hall. In January, Esten introduced his independent debut album, Love Ain’t Pretty, on the hit show Nashville. Love Ain’t Pretty has garnered 21 million streams to date, and received critical attention: “[The album is] the purest representation of [Esten’s] artistry possible.” – Grammy.com “…with wisdom and breadth that comes with time, Esten captures the dimensions of love, loss, growth, and hope.” – Forbes. In fall of 2023, Esten returned to the stage with select members of the Nashville cast for “NASHVILLE” The Reunion Tour with dates in the U.S. and U.K. In addition, he is a philanthropist who serves as the National Honorary Spokesperson for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Annual Light the Night Walk, and serves on the Board for Musicians on Call.
