Green Heron performs at the Firehouse Center for the Arts as part of this year's Newburyport Literary Festival in Newburyport, MA. This short performance will be part of an evening to highlight David Manconi's book “Oh Didn’t They Ramble - Rounder Records and the Transformation of American Roots Music”. The evening will feature a conversation between David and Rounder Records founders, Marian Levy and Ken Irwin.

Green Heron Biography
The music of Green Heron stretches across the entire folk landscape. Old-time, Americana, bluegrass, country, celtic and blues music are all represented as the band brings the back porch to the stage. Featuring Betsy Heron on fiddle, banjo and vocals, and Scott Heron on guitar, banjo and vocals, the duo has been sharing stages together since 2017. With three albums under their belt, the two songwriters weave the contemporary with the traditional and deliver high energy live performances.
