A Freakin’ Disco visszatér Szegedre és elhozza a TOTEM lemezt magával. Zenéjük egyszerre mély, táncos és elszállós, koncertjeik elemi ereje magával ragad és kirepít az űrbe.
A tavaly bakeliten is megjelent TOTEM lemezük 'Face Yourself' című dalát az ötszörös Grammy-díjas Steve Dub (The Chemical Brothers, The Prodigy) producer közreműködésével vették fel. A hozzá készült klipet Hajdu Szabolcs rendezte és már 33.000 fölötti megtekintésnél jár. A klip elnyerte a Legjobb Elektronikus Zenei Klip díját a 2023-as Europe Music Video Awardson. Az IMPALA (európai független lemezkiadók szövetsége) beválasztotta őket ’100 zenekar, akiket látni kell 2023-ban’ listájára, a nemzetközi zenei újságírókat tömörítő Europavox pedig feltette őket a ’november hónap zenekara’ shortlistjére.
Kiemelt koncertek: Slaughterhouse Fesztivál (DK), Beseda u Bigbítu (CZ), MENT (SI), SramlFest (CZ), Festival Vsudybud (CZ), Művészetek Völgye (H), Ozora (H), Sziget (H), Kolorádó (H), Bánkitó (H), mumush (RO), Fekete Zaj (H), Malom Festival (SRB), BUSH (H), Double Rise (RO), NFGreen festival (SK), és az ArtMix (SK). Turnéztak már Erdélyben, Angliában, Lengyelországban, közösen turnéztak a cseh Toot Ensemble-lel (Prága, Pozsony és Budapest), koncerteztek Londonban, Brightonban, Berlinben, Nyitrán és Ljubljanában is. 2019 végén telt házas koncertet adtak a budapesti Trafó Házban, az erről készült koncertfilm már látható a zenekar Youtube csatornáján.
2024: a zenekar meghívást kapott egy horvát fesztiválra, mennek erdélyi turnéra és fellépnek Bécsben és Prágában.

Freakin' Disco Biography
The music of Freakin’ Disco is deep, psychedelic, and groovy. The elemental power of their live performances launches the audience to space. The band was formed in 2013 after an exciting jam session performed together at an open air event at Budapest’s Chain Bridge.
They have been selected by HEMI to their mentoring and award program for 2024; by IMPALA (European independent labels’ association) to their ‘100 bands to watch in 2023’ list. In November, Europavox, an organization of music journalist, included them on their ’bands of the month’ list.
TOTEM, the third album of the band, was released in early July, of which the first single, Face Yourself, was produced by multi-Grammy Award winner Steve Dub, producer of The Chemical Brothers, The Prodigy etc. The music video was directed by Karlovy Vary Film Festival Grand Prize winner film director Szabolcs Hajdu, and won the Best Electronic Music Video award at the Europe Music Video Awards. A remix by producer HRTL (CZ) was also released along with the song.
Their second album, MONSTER, was released in November 2018. The music video of RULES made it to the finals of New York’s One Screen film festival and came in second place in its category at the Berlin Music Video Awards. The video received the Best Director Award at Hungary’s Music Video Awards.
