The 5th Saturday Sing Presents The Herb Henry Family + The Lighthouse Boys Two of the West Coast's Historic Southern Gospel Names will perform in Bakersfield, CA The Herb Henry Family has come to be recognized as California's "First Family of Gospel Music." Since 1986 this family has joyfully presented the Gospel in song. Their personal appearances have taken them from small country churches to large arenas and concert halls. They appear each year at the annual Great Western Fan Festival. Their musical ministry has grown to where it now touches the hearts of thousands of people who attend their concerts and listen to their radio program. The Lighthouse Boys are on their 50th Anniversary Tour, they have been called Progenitors of the Bakersfield Sound. The Lighthouse Boys received the 2016 "Gospel" Award by The Bakersfield Country Music Awards as a "Life time Achievement Presentation". They are known for their Radio Singles and Fan Favorites "Midnight Cry", "From Heaven's Point of View", "When The Saints of God Are Called T'ward Heaven" and their newest single "He'll Carry You".
