Join Prairie Loft for the 17th Annual Flatwater Music Festival
Flatwater Music Festival 2024 is Friday and Saturday, June 21-22 at Prairie Loft Center for Outdoor & Agricultural Learning in Hastings, Nebraska. Each year over 1,000 people from across the Midwest enjoy two nights of live music, fantastic food, local artisan vendors, and outdoor activities for all ages.
Musicians this year include The Talbott Brothers, National Park Radio, Maygen & The Birdwatcher, Gracies Uncles, The String Beans and More!
Featuring an eclectic mix of folk, Americana, and bluegrass performers. Set between two picturesque barns and against a backdrop of cornfields and fireflies, the Flatwater Music Festival is like no other in the region.
On Saturday afternoon we will feature the String Beans for a family concert sure to get all the kiddos (and their grown-ups) dancing! New this year, we are excited to feature a revamped Shady Stage and Food Court area featuring local artists and a unique dining experience.

Maygen & The Birdwatcher Biography
Maygen & The Birdwatcher are a Minnesota-based folk duo-turned-Americana band who adventurously blur the sounds of country, bluegrass, folk, and blues – keepin' it all fresh.
Since their 2021 debut full-length Moonshine, they have shared their music all over the midwest and beyond, earning Midwest Country Music awards for Americana Artist of the Year and Album of the Year, taking part in many notable regional and national festivals, releasing Moonshine's companion EP, Bootleggin' At The Flower Shoppe, and also releasing their version of the Eagle's classic "Desperado" which landed on multiple Spotify Playlists including Indie Bluegrass, and Bluegrass Covers.
Lead singers Maygen Lacey, and Noah Neumann have intentionally worked to draw on their vastly different musical influences and vocal styles to bring a fresh and unexpected set of original songs to life.
