GINGSU Biography

GINGSU is a burgeoning alt-rock juggernaut hailing from the unsuspecting shores of San Clemente, CA. Blending elements of progressive rock, funk, and grunge, their originals are both poetic and deeply primal. Formed in the summer of 2020, the group is comprised of vocalist Quin Seely, guitarist James Packes, drummer Caleb Paust, and bassist Michael Aripez. Their performances throughout Southern California include venues like the Music Box in San Diego, Queen Bee’s Art and Cultural Center, and FTG Warehouse. The group released their highly diverse debut EP in September 2021, and have been cultivating a dedicated underground following across Southern California. Their songs have received radio airplay spanning Laguna Beach all the way to Boston, and they earned a spot on the “Let Us Live” festival in San Diego by popular vote. GINGSU relishes in that which is difficult to define, and that’s precisely why they’re such a singular act.
