Hutcheson Brothers Biography

The Hutcheson Brothers, Jon & Brandon, are award-winning singer-songwriters, musicians, and Nashville country music recording artists from Tennessee.
The Brothers released their first studio album, 'Behind The Levee', on June 22, 2023, featuring previously released singles 'Sip Happens' (#49 Nashville CDX True Indie Chart; Top 250 CDX Chart for 2023) and 'She Don't Know She's Lonely', along with new songs, 'Searchin', a revised version of 'Mississippi River Town', an acoustic cover of 'Kryptonite' by 3 Doors Down and more.
Driven by the thrill of performing and writing songs that make a connection with people, the Hutcheson Brothers proudly fly the banner of country music, which reflects their hometown values and southern roots. Natives of Lake County, Tenn., Jon & Brandon come from a musical family. Their mother, Lorie, is a charting country gospel artist, and their great uncle, Buck Hutcheson, was a 50-plus year guitarist for The Memphis Beats, the touring band for rock 'n roll legend and Country Music Hall of Fame member, 'The Killer' Jerry Lee Lewis. With family serving as their foundation of musical influences, the brothers have also been heavily inspired by artists such as Garth Brooks, Keith Urban, John Mayer, Merle Haggard, Dan+Shay, Bob Seger, Brooks & Dunn, HARDY, fellow Lake County native Carl Perkins, among many others.
The brothers have performed in various venues, events, and T.V. shows across the U.S. including the world-renowned Bluebird Café, the NFL Draft, The Josie Music Awards, Today In Nashville, The Dosey Doe Big Barn in Houston, TX, Rosie's in Lincoln, NE, Beer Can Alley in Iowa, a private screening of the Ken Burns’ ‘Country Music’ documentary – among many others. They have also opened for or been on the same show with legendary country artists such as Shenandoah, Buddy Jewell, Gene Watson, Confederate Railroad, T. Graham Brown, Ronnie McDowell, Casey Chesnutt, and Leona Williams. Additionally, the Hutcheson Brothers have been featured on Inside Studio G, the weekly Facebook Live show, with country music superstar Garth Brooks, the best-selling country solo recording artist of all time.
Over the years, the Hutcheson Brothers have been named nominees for various independent music award shows. As of June 2024, the guys have earned a total of 62 Independent Country Music Award nominations from The Josie Music Awards (32), Tennessee Music Awards (5), Fair Play Country Music Awards (16), International Singer Songwriters Association Awards (3), and Who's Hoo Independent Country Music Awards (6), winning the Songwriter Achievement Award at the 2023 Josie Music Awards, held at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville. In 2024, they were also named finalists in Rolling Stone's America's Next Top Hitmaker competition.
