About this concert
On May 26, Dave Brandwein will bring his indie/folk/rock hybrid, "Band For Sale" to the live stage for the first time at The Venice West in Venice, CA.
A musical departure from his years as co-founder/frontman of nine-piece powerfunk outlet Turkuaz, Band For Sale draws inspiration from artists like Paul Simon, James Taylor, Jackson Browne and The Beatles. With the help of a select group of collaborators from other notable bands of the last couple of decades, Dave recorded and released his debut album, "Sleeping Sun, Waking Moon" in 2022.
Wolftrap will kick off the night of music at The Venice West. Vinyl all night by J. Earl, and a late night set by Danke following Band For Sale.
With a string of singles, a sophomore album, and live performances on the way in 2024, Band For Sale continues to be Brandwein's most personal creative outlet and musical passion.
