About this concert
Ryan Naismith Band, with Steve Sinclair of Brother Leeds and John Couture of Newport Electric.
Ryan Naismith is a singer-songwriter from London, Ontario. His songs weave together stories of Life, Loss, and Redemption with a straightforward delivery that connects with his audience. Accompanied by his band, their Alt-Folk, Americana Sound has been building a strong fan base one show at a time throughout Ontario.
In the vein of his musical influences such as Townes VanZandt, Ray Wylie Hubbard, Steve Earle, Blue Rodeo, and Chris Knight, Ryan strives to write songs that resonate like an intimate conversation. Songs that are honest, and reach below the surface of the everyday.
The Ryan Naismith Band played over 40 shows in 2023, with the highlight of playing a showcase at Diamonds in the Rough stage, during the CCMA’s in Hamilton. Ryan is planning to record his first EP in 2024.
