Black Light Disco Biography
Black Light Disco are a Canberra (Australia) based alt rock duo creating raw garage rock gems similar to the Ramones or Death From Above 1979.
Douglas & Waikare Warouw (father/child) explore the parallels between modern day demons and traditional monsters creating music that guides you on an optimistic journey with simply sculpted lyrics reminiscent of a high school disco.
Waikare’s primordial drumming combined with 3500 volts of Plasma distortion resonating from Doug’s bass guitar make Black Light Disco the largest sounding duo you’ll experience live. Their music will remind you of first loves, old school friends and innocent times - you’ll be humming their songs for days.
